MIDDIES COACHING STAFF

Bill Natlo

Bill is in his third season with the Middies where he will be a primary coach with our Senior and Gold 2 groups.  Bill will also be on deck regularly to assist the Senior III, Bronze and Silver groups, as well. 

Bill is a former swimmer at both the USS and collegiate levels, having swum locally for five years and later at SUNY-Cortland before retiring.  During the summer, Bill is the head coach at Rocky Ledge in White Plains, where he took over in 2005.  During this past summer, he led the club to a Division IV championship.  Bill is also the coach's representative for Division III of the conference.

Over the past few years, Bill's athletes at Middies have been "JO" qualifiers, YWCA National Champions, Team and Metro Record Holders, Sr. Met, Sectional and Junior National qualifiers and County/Conference champions.  Bill is a Certified Pool Operator, Certified Aquatic Manager and has achieved Level 3 recognition from the American Swim Coaches Association. 

In addition to coaching, Bill is in his third year of teaching 5th Grade at Good Counsel Academy Elementary School in White Plains.  Bill holds a BA Degree in English from the University at Albany and a MS in Education from Long Island University.

Tara and Bill live in Elmsford with their daughter, Hannah.
